In a letter to her skin, Tessa Schiethart speaks to her body about the social perception when looking different than the norm. Tessa Schiethart is a writer, coach and public speaker who stands up agains lookism (discrimination based on looks) and advocates the importance of self-acceptance.

Hour of the Wolf

Hour of the Wolf tells a story about insomnia, representing part of a state that is half a dream and half reality, unsure whether we’re awake or not. It visualises the moment between night and day where one can’t sleep and fall into his or her own reality. The artist, Lotta Sophie, asked me to develop the concept and direct her new music video to envision her personal struggle with insomnia.

When Anna returns to her father’s house a year after his death, she lives through a storm of emotions as these may come and go in the process of grief.

Straks is alles anders

"Straks is Alles Anders" is a Dutch short film about the unconditional love between the 11-years old fraternal twins Joosje and Rosa. Their parents, Peter and Miranda, still live in a toxic marriage and in this vacuum of love, the twins' attachment to one another grows stronger even more. They live by their own rules, their own values. When they break these rules in a night that seems surreal, their relationship starts to crumble.
